Women’s Wellbeing Retreat Day- Somerset

Saturday 26th Sept, at the gorgeous Utopia, Bleadon, Somerset.

This one-day retreat is designed to support women navigating peri and menopause to feel stronger, more confident and more connected to their bodies.

Through guided kettlebell strength training, an empowering talk on nutrition and wellbeing, reflective journaling and time to unwind in a beautiful setting, you’ll gain practical tools to support yourself through this stage of life. Alongside movement and learning, there will be plenty of time to relax and recharge in the pool, hot tub, sauna and cold plunge.

You’ll leave with a deeper understanding of your body, renewed confidence in your strength and the reassurance that you’re not navigating this journey alone.

  • A guided strength session using kettlebells, designed to meet you where you are. Whether this is your first experience of strength training or you are looking to refine elements of your technique, you will be supported to move safely, confidently and at your own pace, with a focus on building trust in your body.

  • An empowering talk on strength training, nutrition and wellbeing through peri and menopause, helping you understand what’s happening in your body and how to support it in a realistic, sustainable way, without overwhelm or extremes.

  • A guided meditation and reflective journaling session, offering space to slow down, tune in and gain clarity. You’ll be given thoughtful journaling prompts, followed by the opportunity to share and reflect together in the circle. While opening up can feel a little uncomfortable at first, this part of the day is often deeply reassuring, helping you realise you are not alone and that so many women are experiencing similar challenges and changes.

  • Swim in the heated pool, soak in the hot tub, or enjoy a peaceful session in the sauna followed by a refreshing cold plunge.

    A chance to slow down, ease tension and give your body the space to truly relax and recharge.

How We Met

I’d heard about Helen a few years ago and admired her reputation with kettlebells. When we finally met for coffee, I loved her straight away, she was kind, down-to-earth, and we instantly connected over our shared passion for supporting others. I’ve been attending her kettlebells classes for a year and a half, and I’ve gained strength, confidence, and inspiration from her teaching. When the idea of this retreat came up, I knew Helen would be the perfect co-host to bring her expertise and warmth to the day.

  • Helen Hall is a strength coach and founder of Hels Bells who is passionate about helping women feel capable, confident and strong at every stage of life.

    With over a decade of experience in kettlebell training, Helen specialises in making strength work accessible, supportive and empowering, whether you’re a complete beginner or more experienced. During the retreat, she will lead a tailored kettlebell session designed to help you understand why staying strong as you age is one of the greatest investments you can make in your future health. She will also host a practical, down to earth workshop on how small, sustainable changes to your nutrition can better support you through menopause, cutting through the noise and focusing on what truly makes a difference.

Do you offer a payment plan?

Can I come on my own?

Absolutely! lot’s of the women come on their own.

Do I have to take part in all activities?

You are very welcome to take part in only the activities that you feel comfortable with.

What’s not included?

Any travel to and from the retreat.

Do I need to have done kettlebells before?

No, Helen with guide the session and show you what to do.

What should I pack?

Each guest will be sent a welcome pack which will include some useful items to bring along.
